Taiwanese American Next Generation (TANG) Camp

We are a camp/conference for 2nd and 3rd Generation Taiwanese Americans. We foster a loving community, learn about our shared heritage, and help youths to develop their own identity. But if you ask our campers, they come back for their friends!

“For the youth to be enriched by a loving Taiwanese community, so they can obtain a stronger sense of self and passionately pursue their convictions.”

In a staff retreat for the TANG 2014 conference, we embarked on a project to create a shared mission statement with the involvement of all of our program directors. During this retreat, we reflected deeply on the things that are most important about TANG, the people we serve, and what they value. Our mission is the product of our reflections, distilled into a single statement. Take a peek at photos from this process!

Hi TANG family,

We are excited to announce that registration for the TANG/TACEC 2017 conference is officially open!

All registration details about our rates, deadlines, and how to register online can be found on our website here.

TANG has been growing like crazy!  We love seeing so many new faces and enthusiastic campers.   In order to preserve the safety of all campers and staff and build the optimal TANG experience, we are introducing a wait list this year for the Tiny Tots, Juniors, and Junior High programs.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Registration is first come, first serve.
  • When a program is full, you’ll have the option to register for a wait list.  Your payment information will be taken, but you won’t be charged unless you are accepted from the waitlist.
  • If you are registering as a family, please wait to register all of your family members until a spot opens up. We’ll do our best to accommodate families first.
  • When a spot opens up, we’ll let you know by email.  If you decide to take the spot, we will take you off the waitlist and your credit card will be charged. We’ll also remind you to register your other family members at this time.
  • Priority will generally be given to those who have registered earlier.  We will also do our best to accommodate families.

How can you ensure that you or a loved one gets a spot? Register online, and register early!

Please let us know if you have any questions.
We hope to see you this coming July!

Thanks,
TANG Leadership Team
