To celebrate 2016 Taiwanese American Heritage Week and President-elect Tsai Ing-Wen’s inauguration, the Atlanta Taiwanese Association of America (ATAA) held a celebration on Sunday, May 15 at Kennesaw State University’s Marietta campus.

The professional dancing troupe “Modern Arts Dance Theater” from Taiwan performed “Taiwan So Beautiful”. The program mixed elements of modern dance, traditional Taiwanese folk songs, Taiwanese opera, and glove puppetry.

He urged the US to support Taiwan to become a member of the Trans Pacific Partnership. He also mentioned after the presidential inauguration on May 20, the new government will continue Taiwan’s policy as a regional peace keeper.
