53. Taiwanese Center in Cincinnati/Ohio and Taiwanese Culture Center of America

  1. Team of the Taiwanese Center in Cincinnati/Ohio:

To build a Taiwanese Center for Taiwanese Association of Cincinnati was a dream for many Taiwanese Association members. Professor Ray Lin had one time looked into a building in University of Cincinnati area and conducted a feasibility study for building a Taiwanese Center there. Then came Dr. HweYang Kao who had published article in our Newsletter for establishing a Taiwanese Center.

Dr. Ching-Tai Lee had moved one big step forward. He established a Taiwanese Center Fund for accepting charitable donations. Dr. Hsin Cheng and Mrs. Miao Cheng donated their building, rent free for use as the Taiwanese Center.

In order to move on to establish a center, there were so many members of the association contributed their energy and financial resources toward the same goal. There were simply too many to name every one of them.

Team of the Taiwanese Center of Cincinnati would be a more appropriate recognition in establishing the Taiwanese Center.

  1. Team of the Taiwanese Culture Center of America

Again, it is a combined effort of many members of the Taiwanese Association, residing in Cincinnati and all over the United States. Please refer to the hand book of the inauguration, published May 28, 1995.

Team of the Taiwanese Culture Center of America would be a more appropriate recognition.
