Yu-Han Yeh 葉宇涵, Pianist

葉宇涵Born in Tainan, Taiwan, Miss Yu-Han Yeh began her piano studies at the age of five. In her hometown, she was under the guidance of Grace Chung and I-Ting Chen in Tainan National Girls’ Senior High School (TNGS), where she graduated with the Top Prize honor for the outstanding musical and academic performance in the Music Concentration Program.
Miss Yeh has performed in master classes with pianists Akira Imai, Bruce Brubaker, Jane Coop, Alexander Gavrylyuk, Hung-Kuan Chen, Meng-Chieh Liu, and Ju-Ying Song. She also participated in plentiful major music festivals and summer camps as a soloist and chamber musician, such as 2013 InterHarmony International Music Festival in Arcidosso, Italy, the 20th Summit Music Festival (SMF) in Purchase, New York State, 2009 Euro Music Festival (EMF) in Leipzig, Germany, and the 16th Annual Music Festival at Walnut Hill, Boston.

Miss Yeh maintains a vast repertoire of piano solo as well as chamber music; and has received many accolades. She is the recipient of prizes including “KuanDu’s New Artist for chamber music” competition held by Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA), 2013 TACEA Scholarship, 2011 KHS Scholarship, and the first place on the list of the Entrance Exam held by Taiwan Senior High School Music Admission Board.

In 2013, she appeared in the “Student Showcase Concert” of InterHarmony Music Festival, playing works by Debussy and Dvorak trio. In 2012, she was in the “Summer Concert for Beethoven’s Piano Sonatas” in Tainan and Taichung, Taiwan. As 2011 TNUA’s new artist of the future, she performed Liszt’s Piano Sonata in B Minor and chamber music in TNUA Concert Hall. In 2009, she was in “the Distinguished Participants Concert” of 2009 Euro Music Festival, performing works by Rachmaninoff and Schumann.

Miss Yeh graduated with the Top Prize honor from TNUA, Taiwan, where she studied piano performance with Prof. Rolf-Peter Wille and chamber music with Prof. Nancy Tsung. In 2012, she continues her graduate studies with Mr. Boris Slutsky in Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.
