Originally from Taiwan, Chien-Lun Lee is a versatile artist in New York City. She has university training in Musicology, Pedagogy, Theatre, and 20 years training in Music, all of which has provided the foundation for her professional career as a vocalist, actor, and an official music teacher in Taiwanese junior and senior high schools.

Her artistic career began as a classical vocalist, performing in venues across Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Palau, New York. Her numerous performances include singing for the Chinese movie Tiny Times I (小時代) soundtrack, the World Games in 2009 – The Night of the Art, and Malan Breton’s 2015 NY fashion show as Soprano solo.

In 2012, she was chosen to be an International Youth Ambassador,and she went to Republic of Palau for diplomacy of art and music on behalf of Taiwan.

Besides having classical music achievement, Chien-Lun holds a master degree of Vocal Performance in Music Theatre at New York University. Chien-Lun is now working extensively in musical theatre and classical music, recently she has been seen in an off-off –Broadway show Midnight Kill as Zhao (Lead, World premiere), Off-Broadway musical Comfort Women as the original ensemble cast, and she has created the roles of JT and Mo Ye in a play Behind The Mask’s US premiere.

Besides the dedication to performing, in 2013, Chien-Lun became an official music teacher in Taiwan high schools, and holds the Certificate in Music Pedagogy and Secondary Education in Taiwan.  She is now a faculty member in two music schools in New York City, teaching music theory, vocal and piano.
