Amanda Wu

Amanda Wu, a Taiwanese American born and raised in the Bay Area, is a graduate of UC Davis, majoring in music, with an emphasis in bass performance under the direction of Thomas Derthick, and minoring in Communications and Education. Prior to studying the bass, Amanda studied violin and piano for about eight years. She currently works as the Donor Relations Coordinator in the Development Division at the San Francisco Symphony. In addition to her work, Amanda is a member of the UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra and serves on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Wind Ensemble.
