Center for Taiwan International Relations, CTIR 台灣國際關係中心

The Center for Taiwan International Relations (CTIR) was formally established on December 15, 1988, in Washington, D.C. Its core purposes include researching and promoting Taiwan’s independent sovereignty and equal standing in the international community, as well as developing diplomatic relations with both developing and advanced nations. CTIR also aims to build a think tank to cultivate diplomatic talent among Taiwanese at home and abroad, and to facilitate exchanges between Taiwan’s social movement organizations and counterpart groups in other countries.

Mission

To research and promote Taiwan's independent sovereignty and equal relations in the international community; develop diplomatic ties with nations worldwide; cultivate Taiwanese diplomatic talent through a think tank; and facilitate exchanges between Taiwan's social movement organizations and related groups in other countries.
