Global Taiwan Institute 全球台灣研究中心

The Global Taiwan Institute (GTI) is a think tank dedicated to strengthening US-Taiwan relations through policy research, public outreach, and community building. GTI builds a platform connecting policymakers, academics, and media in both the United States and Taiwan for information, analysis, and events. The organization incubates progressive ideas informed by Taiwan’s political, economic, and cultural developments. GTI pursues three core programs: the weekly Global Taiwan Brief newsletter, a bi-weekly Public Seminar Series, and an Annual Symposium paired with an Annual Report.

Mission

Build a platform for policymakers, academics and the media in the United States and Taiwan for information and analysis, events, and public outreach; incubate progressive ideas informed by Taiwan's political, economic, and cultural developments to facilitate stronger US-Taiwan relations; and develop an inclusive community of emerging leaders and specialists engaged in public policy within think tanks, media, and NGOs focused on Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific.
