In August, Jen-Jen Chen, the retired Taiwanese American military officer received recognition from the entire stadium crowd at the Major League Baseball's "Taiwan Day" event. A large LED screen displayed her video, and it specifically highlighted her service on the front lines during the Iraq War, acknowledging her as a war hero.
