台美史料中心的當前進度報告

親愛的朋友您好：

     謝謝您們多年來對台美史料中心的支持，台美史料中心深深感謝各方的祝福和支持，並簡略說明當前最新進度：

1. 針對台美史料中心網頁內的照片， UC San Diego Library的工程師將逐步以自動化、系統化的方式整合在圖書館的資料庫中，以利後續提供更為廣泛的運用。

2 .原預計九月中旬將舉辦實體的開幕活動，但因為疫情關係，開幕活動將延後並改成線上舉行，待日期確定後，將再行通知各位朋友，歡迎各位朋友共襄盛舉，給予台美史料中心更多的支持和建言。

TA Archives’ Current Improvement Steps

Dear Friends,

Thanks for supporting Taiwanese American Archives. We would like to briefly outline current steps what TA Archives is trying to improve for our website:

1. After the preliminary meeting with the programmer of UCSD Library, the programmer will try to integrate the Photo Albums Section from TA Archives into UCSD Library’s digital database for academic research.

2. Due to the Delta variant, we might move the opening ceremony of Taiwanese Americans Archives in UCSD from physical to online. We will announce the final time for the opening ceremony once the TA Archive committee and UCSD have the final decision.
