Feng-Jen Lu 路鳳真, flutist

 

A native Taiwan, Boston-based flutist Feng-Jen Lu started her training in music with piano in a young age. She studied flute with Hsiao-Pei Ma and Li-Min Chen while she was in Taiwan. As a prize winner, Lu won multiple prizes in both flute solo and chamber music completion, including: first prize in Kaohsiung Music Competition (2007), first prize in Taiwan National Music Competition (2008), first prize in NTUE concerto competition (2010) and first prize in Taichung Music Competition (2010).

Lu graduated from National Taichung University of Education with a degree of Bachelor of Music in flute performance. Gunrently，she earned her Master of Music degree with scholarship in flute performance at New England Conservatory where she studying with Renee Krimsier.
