Emily Muramoto 蔡蕙宇, Vocalist
Emily Muramoto is a sophomore in high school at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA). She is in the classical voice conservatory at OCSA and has performed in numerous opera productions at her school. Emily’s repertoire includes Classical, Broadway, and Jazz vocals. On February 21, 2016, Emily performed a solo with over 100-person orchestra that was twice recognized as a National Grammy Signature School. In December 2015, Emily performed at the Weill Concert Hall in Carnegie Hall, in New York City having placed first in the 2015 American Protégé International Voice Competition.
In 2014, she performed twice at Carnegie Hall having place first in the world wide vocal competitions On July 20, 2013, Emily won the CYE Pre-Teen Miss Orange County title which allowed her to participate in the CYE Miss California Scholarship Pageant. On November 9, 2013, Emily was crowned CYE Pre-Teen Miss California. Emily also currently is an instructor at the Orange County Lutheran Church in charge of choreography and teaching dance to children from ages 5 to 12 from low income families.
