PAUL BO-YI LIN

林博逸（Paul Bo-Yi Lin)是一位患有自閉症的青年，出生在台灣，成長於美國華盛頓州西雅圖，並在西雅圖當地接受教育。他從小就充滿了很奇特的想像力，但礙於自閉症所限很難清楚與完整的表達他所思所想。他一直夢想成為一位繪本故事創作與畫家，並藉由創作給予他無限的發揮與想像空間。

林博逸於2010年7月開始接觸油晝，啟蒙老師給予許多正面的評語，認為博逸擁有扎實獨特的想法，從創作當中可看出他內心的真實世界。他總是以簡單的線條來創作，然而色彩呈現卻極具豐富與活潑，並認為他是一位可以創造無限想像空間的一位畫家。只要不斷地創作與作畫，累積經驗與技巧，林博逸的繪畫世界必定可以繼續與大家分享。

Paul is a young man with Asperger’s Syndrome. He was born in Taiwan, raised and educated in Seattle. WA. U.S.A. He graduated from high school in the summer of 2011, and went to Cascadia Community CoUege to take Adult Basic English class for two quarters. He discontinued spring quarter due to his autism. Although his mind is full of imagination since his childhood, he has difficulties expressing his ideas due to his autism.

Paul began learning how to oil paint in July of 2010. According to his art teacher’s opinion, Paul has a solid and unique perspective on composition, which strongly shows his personality. Although he always uses simple lines to compose, his works are always colorful and full of vitality. That is why people believe Paul’s imagination is so unique and plentiful. It has been his dream to be an illustrator and a writer. Writing and illustrating books has given Paul the opportunity to express himself. As long as he continues to paint and draw, people will be able to expect great works from him.
