峰怜Fong Ling
1997當她的兒子給她一盒舊粉彩時，她才發現這多彩多姿的畫料，從此進入多年的粉彩繪畫生涯。曾在夏威夷檀香山藝術館與當地粉彩名家 Susan Brooks, Helen Iaea, Mark Norseth 學習鑽研。歷年來曾適師多位粉彩大師，美國著名的張 哲雄 (Jason Chang)教授，Sally Strand，Doug Dawson, Ben Konis, Desmon O’Hagan， Richard McKinley，Terry Ludwig，Alan Fattann, Susan Ogilvie 等名家。
11/17/2002 Honolulu Advertiser 藝術評論家 Victoria Gail-White 論 “峰怜 三十一幅畫表現了高超 的粉彩技巧…透過她對畫題與觀賞者的摯愛，道出許動人 的故事…”。美國粉彩協會 Pastel Society of America 年度專家評獎邀請展被採用 為展覽畫冊的封面。在慈濟夏威夷分會文化教育活動教授兩期粉彩課。
2003 61st Audubon 藝術協會年度展覽粉彩銀牌獎，Cape Code 彩協會年展金牌獎。2009 三十七屆美國粉彩協會年度展 Jack Recheson 特獎。宗毅博士文教基金會特獎。
峰怜是以下團體的會員﹕ 美國粉彩畫家協會(associate member)， 北美粉彩畫家協會， 夏威夷粉彩畫家協會， 夏威夷藝術家協會。她也經常參加本 州與國內各項專家評鑒邀請展，人體寫生，素描，風景畫也是她 不斷磨練的題材。
Fong Ling born in Taiwan, Fong Ling has been a Hawaii resident over 30 years. Since her youth, she has been interested in art and studied oil painting and Chinese brush painting. In 1997 her son gave her a small box of used pastel, immediately; she discovered and dedicated to the pastel painting. Since that time she has been taking art class at Honolulu Academy of Art, also studied with Susan Brooks, Helen Iaea, Mark Norseth and national pastel masters – Jason Chang, Sally Strand, Doug Dawson, Ben Konis, Desmon O’Hagan, Richard McKinley, Terry Ludwig, Alan Flattann and Susan Ogilvie.
Many Fong Ling’s works have been honored in local and national competitions, such as accepted the Artists of Hawaii 2000 and in 2003, the 61st Annual Audubon Artist Inc. exhibition in New York City, where she received the Audubon Artist’s Silver Medal of Honor. She also received Jack Richeson Co. Award from 2009 Pastel Society of America Annual Exhibition. Fong Ling is active in many art societies, including the Pastel Society of America, Association of Hawaii Artists, and the Pastel Artists of Hawaii, where she held the position of President from 2003 to 2005.
