NY Taiwanese Golf Club is a non-profit organization. The purposes for which the club is formed are as follows:
- To promote the member’s interest in golf.
- To provide monthly golf tournaments to members and guests, usually with a dinner following the tournament.
- To encourage conformance to the USGA Rules of Golf, except as modified by local rules.
- To maintain a uniform system of handicapping calculation to the members.
- To promote fair play and sportsmanship.
- To organize social and community events. There is an annual evening party towards year end.
- To promote exchanges with other organizations with similar interests
The club does not have a home course. It schedules monthly tournaments on golf courses in the metro NY area (upstate NY, Long Island, Connecticut, and New Jersey.) Tournaments fall on Sundays between April and October each year. After each tournament, there is a fixed dinner for prize award.
