紐約州首府區台美文化促進會 Taiwanese American Cultural Society of the Capital District
The Taiwanese American Cultural Society of the Capital District, Inc. (TACS) was established in May 2004 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable corporation with tax-exempt status. The mission of TACS is to promote Taiwanese arts, history, and culture to the community through exhibits, lectures, musical and theatrical performances and youth scholarships. Among the numerous cultural events it sponsors each year is the Taiwanese American Heritage Week Celebration, which is a performing arts extravaganza typically held at The Egg in the Empire State Plaza in the month of May.
