Good morning!
It’s confirmed that your petition had duly reached the highest destination in Taiwan as you requested, a move we were pleased to be of help.
Before any clear policy guidelines issued from Taipei and given certain political sensitivity in raising the matter with the US side at this juncture, TECRO as a diplomatic mission may not be able to publicly endorse/comment on the case.
However, we believe that you as a proactive and vocal Taiwanese-American organization, may continue with the campaign deemed appropriate.
Your attention and understanding would be greatly appreciated.

現在是否有機會仿 <美國在台協會> AIT的格式, 再正名為 <台灣在美協會> TIA.
我們了解到正名為 <台灣> 看似理所當然, 卻需要人民. 政府 與美國友人三方缺一不可的共同努力
台美人發起的連署活動要敦促政府外交部門的努力, 也要給他們最大的後盾助力.
推動<台灣駐美代表處正名連署>連署的數量一定要夠多, 才會對申訴對象形成壓力, 也才會有效果
我們不僅要爭取到您的連署, 也要請大家共同策劃, 廣邀各地鄉親來共同響應
