解永寧 Yung-Ning Hsieh
永寧在韓華人，來美國後，嫁給生在台灣的先生，她早年學習傳統中國工筆畫，2009年進入張哲雄教授之粉彩畫研究室，進修鑽研粉彩藝術，她除粉彩創 作外，也任教繪畫。永寧現為北美粉彩畫家協會理事及美國粉彩協會，奧杜邦藝術家之會員，台灣婦女會會員，並多次參展台灣婦女會所屬的畫展，曾獲美國粉彩協 會，奧杜邦藝術家粉彩畫公開賽中獲入選參展。2010，2012年，在美國紐洛雪美術協會公開賽中獲獎三次。2012年於台灣全國粉彩畫賽獲奬。她的經歴 於2013年入編”Who’s Who in America”。
At the beginning of her art career, Yung-Ning depicted traditional Chinese art. During these recent years, she decided to explore the art of pastel by taking classes in the Pastel School of North America Pastel Artists Association (NAPAA) under the supervisory of Jason Chen. In just a few months, Yung-Ning was fascinated with the vivacity of pastel. Since entering this field of art, Yung-Ning has taken membership as NAPAA Exhibition Chair and has taken part in exhibitions such as New Rochelle Art Association 2010-2013 and NAPAA Audubon Artists Inc. She has also been elected as a Juried Associate Member of Pastel Society of America (PSA) in 2010. In 2013, Yung Ning was selected to be in the recent edition of “Who’s Who in America”. Besides producing pastel-art, she also teaches art in her free time.
