Yi-Ting Hsieh, Pianist and Clarinetist

Clarinetist Yi-Ting Hsieh has performed solo, orchestral, and chamber works in Taiwan and in the United States. As a double major in clarinet and piano performance, Yi-Ting has been a collaborative pianist for the winning of a number of competitions. In addition, she has placed in several clarinet competitions, including 1st place in the Taiwanese National Student Competition of Music and 3rd place in the Young Artist Music Competition of Taiwan. 

Yi-Ting earned her Bachelor of Music in both Clarinet and Piano Performance from the National Taichung University of Education in Taiwan, and she received her Master of Music degree from Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. 

Combining her musicianship as a performing artist and an educator, Yi-Ting is an active professional musician in the greater Boston area with various chamber groups and orchestras, and she also has been establishing an intensely loyal studio of piano and clarinet students.
